The idea is simple: give potential clients a clear picture of who you are and what you do. We create one strong hero image for your homepage, images for key pages and services, photos of you working with clients, and a small set of interior and detail shots showing your space. The goal is to give you a complete set of images that work together and help people understand your business before they contact you. Think about how you choose a specialist for yourself: your GP, dentist, accountant, mortgage broker, financial adviser or lawyer. We all do it: we look at someone and, often before we’ve read much about them, we already have a feeling : “I could trust this person!” Shoot Details Be prepared to spend a good part of the session creating your main hero image. This is the first image people see on your website, and it has an important job to do. I spend around 15–20 minutes for every scene and 3 hours in total, allowing enough time for natural direction and comfortable posing. Style & Approach I recommend inviting two or three people who genuinely look like your typical clients. They can be existing or former clients, friends, or people you know who are happy to take part. Think about your real target audience: their age, gender and general profile. The people in your photos should look like the people you actually want to walk through your door. Preparation & Setup Before the shoot, we’ll also have a call to discuss wardrobe, not only yours, but also what your invited clients are planning to wear. The shoot will take place at your workplace, whether that’s a clinic, office, studio or coworking space. Whenever possible, I like to visit the location beforehand so I can see the space, understand the light and plan the shoot properly. On the day of the shoot, please make sure your space is spotless. Think of it this way: your space should look like it’s being nominated for the Best Office in Australia. Travel & Parking A travel fee applies for locations more than 40 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Any parking fees are kindly covered by the client.
